Fizz and Flowers

Time

2pm - 4.30pm

Location

Flower crowns are common sights at modern weddings and music festivals — but did you know that these delicate creations have been worn for hundreds of years to mark love and celebration?

This summer, flower lovers can escape to the Gower to create their own floral crowns at Oxwich Castle — a stunning Tudor manor house just a short walk from Oxwich Bay.

Using locally sourced, seasonal flowers all inspired by Welsh history, attendees to the ‘Fizz and Flower’ events will be guided through the creative process all while enjoying a glass (or two) of fizz!

Plus, with site access included in the ticket price, visitors will have the chance to explore this magnificent property at will. After all, what better place to take a selfie in a flower crown?

The workshop will be hosted by Sharon of Sharon Dower Floral Innovations — who has worked with flowers for more than thirty years and has even won a gold medal at RHS Chelsea and a coveted RHS silver medal at RHS Tatton Park.
